How you run away
And want to be left alone
But the one thing you keep thinking
Is why no one bothered to come after you.

How you want them to feel
Everything you're going through
But at the same time you
Don't want them to know a thing.

You want them to be happy
Even if it kills you to pretend
Maybe if you just slowly
Isolate yourself from them...

They won't get hurt at all
In the process.
