...Because it's their decision to tell, not yours.

They could hide who they really are and be silent about it, but they chose to speak up. Don't make them regret that choice.

Don't make it harder for them by treating them any different than you would have before.

You should support them... Not shun them...

After all, if they weren't gay (or bi), you'd treat them just the same wouldn't you?

They were brave in even speaking out at all in that case.

If it's a religious thing... God loves everyone, despite their sexual preferences, no matter what the bible says.

:) It just bothers me how I've seen people completely freak out because someone syas they're gay or bi and then decides "Well, I can't be friends with them now... They might hit on me..." How hard do you think it was for them to make the decision to come out in the first place.

I'm not gay, but people have their rights. Or at least, they should.

Very true^^ If any of my friends ever told me they were gay I'd be ok with that. In fact I had a few friends at highschool who were bi/gay :3 While it's not the thing for me, who am I to tell anyone, especially friends who they should be attracted to and stop being friends with them just because of their sexual preference.
